Ruiz-Cabañas explained that a 37.7 per cent of deaths in his country by the new flu had metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes, and 18.9 percent had cardiovascular disease.
The representative of Mexico in Tokyo also thanked Japan which has returned to normal bilateral relations, after that first time, the April 28, issued a warning on travel to Mexico, which withdrew three weeks later.
"The standardization has helped a lot that governments have failed their migratory alerts that were not justified," said the ambassador, for whom "in cases of this type of epidemic is the only answer useful international cooperation."
